I’m Nicholas Soper. I build customer-centred businesses at the intersection of growth, product, design and technology.
In the past:
Since 2004, I’ve worked with more than 150 companies across Africa, the UK, Europe and the US—as a freelancer, consultant, agency partner and in-house leader. My work has spanned digital product, growth, commercial strategy, brand, UI/UX, development, automation and customer experience.
I was an early hire and Head of Marketing at Yoco, helping grow its merchant base from around 1,800 to 20,000 in two years.
I also co-founded Atomic, a Cape Town fibre ISP. I helped take it from an idea to a recognised challenger serving thousands of home and business customers, building its brand, growth engine, partnerships, operating systems and customer experience. I have since parted ways.
Now:
I’m a co-founder of World Mobile, where my work sits between support, product and design: turning customer insight into clearer journeys, stronger systems and better experiences at scale.
I’m most energised by complex, high-growth environments where customer experience can become a genuine competitive advantage.
