Turnpics is a South African company that provides a service which generates “interactive, seamless 360˚ product experiences”. They have software that takes pictures of anything in 360˚ and then they create an interactive digital version of it to put it online.
If you ever had doubts about your online store providing enough sway for users to make a buying decision – then high fidelity, interactive products at all angles might do it.
Turnpics wanted an experience that would allow visitors at a trade show to experience their service and take it away with them. This lead to me designing and developing this mobisite for smartphones where people can see 5 full product examples, swipe, turn and zoom all in their hand.
The site was tested and provides a seamless experience on iPhones, iPads, Android, Blackberry 10, Desktop PC (IE8 and up) and Mac.
